Baklava for engagements
A sweet beginning for two families.
Celebrate the yes with a fine baklava selection for both families.
Baklava as an engagement gift
In many Turkish families, baklava belongs to an engagement just as much as the ring. At the Söz and the Nişan, both families come together, and a tray of fine baklava stands for a sweet beginning. Our baklava lets you bring this lovely tradition to your table in style.
As an engagement gift for the bride's or groom's family, Fıstıklı Baklava and Midye Fıstıklı look especially festive with their green Antep pistachios. Havuç Dilim Fıstıklı and the rolled Yeşil Dürüm round out the selection, while Cevizli Baklava suits those who prefer it less sweet. Each variety comes as a whole 2.2–2.4 kg tray in the dark green Swiss Baklava box.
Between the Söz and the Nişan, families often visit each other several times. Unopened in the fridge, the baklava keeps for up to a month, so you can order two or three trays at once and bring them along one after another.
